Cycling in Namibia

Written by Ellen van Drunen on 19 November 2011.

Endless roads, straight ahead. Desolate and dry. Not a village in sight. We cycle from Windhoek to Luderitz in the south, all gravel roads. During the day we have to take shelter because the temperature rises to 45 degrees Celsius!

Cycling in Namibia is not for the faint hearted! We are alone with our thoughts enjoying the beautiful harsh landscape. We definately want to see and cycle more of this beautiful country.

Feel the heat, experience the empty roads ahead and dream away by viewing our travel photos.. just like we did!
