Norway

Written by Ellen van Drunen on 04 September 2011.

October. The train brings us to Finse, altitude 1222 meters. It's dark outside, but the snow reflects the light from the moon. Our breath escapes in little clouds. In front of us lies a huge lake and beyond that only emptiness; Hardangervidda.

Together with a backpack filled with food for 10 days, good hiking boots, down sleepingbag and our Hilleberg tent we hike across the white snow. Around us only snow flakes, water streams and loneliness. Norway at it's best!
